Eligibility
- The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50 % marks ( 49.50% and above to be considered as 50%), ( Minimum 45% in case of Backward Class categories , ) ( 44.50% and above to be considered as 45 %). and having at least participation in the Inter-college/ Inter-zonal/ District/ School competition in Sports and Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India. OR
- The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks ( 44.50% and above to be considered as 45 %). (Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories) (39.50% and above to be considered as 40 %). OR
- The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 45% marks (44.50% and above to be considered as 45 % .(Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories (39.50% and above to be considered as 40 %) and studied Physical Education as compulsory /elective subject. OR
- The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree with 45% marks ( 44.50% and above to be considered as 45 % ) (Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories) ( 39.50% and above to be considered as 40 %) and having participated in National /Inter-University /State Competitions or secured 1st ,2nd or 3rd position in Inter-college /inter–zonal /district /school competition in Sports and Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India. OR
- The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree with participation in International Competitions or secured 1st , 2nd or 3rd position in Inter-college /inter–zonal /district /school competition in Sports and Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India. OR
- The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree with 45% marks (44.50% and above to be considered as 45 % (Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories )( 39.50% and above to be considered as 40 %) and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained physical education teachers/ coaches).
- Other State Candidates: Candidates from Out- side Maharashtra Universities will be considered as Open Category candidates and criteria applicable to Open category candidates will be applicable to them.
