The Right to Information (RTI) is a fundamental legal right of citizens that allows them to seek, receive, and inspect information held by public authorities. In India, this right is governed by the Right to Information Act, 2005, which promotes transparency, accountability, and fairness in
institutional administration.

In educational institutions, RTI plays an important role in ensuring transparency in matters related to admissions, fees, examinations,
administration, and other institutional processes.The following has been prepared for College of Physical Education in the
same format as the uploaded reference document.

The RTI Committee ensures that requests are handled efficiently and transparently. The Committee handles RTI applications, collects the required information from concerned departments, and provides information to applicants within the prescribed time limit as per the Right to
Information Act, 2005.
